I’m a self-taught artist who creates from the heart, with passion, creativity and guidance from artist friends and jewelers.
I create Jewelry that speaks of individuality and craftmanship. Even when inspired by previous designs, no two are ever exactly the same
My creations are inspired through my love for nature combined with my artistic flair. Turning each piece into jewelry that is uniquely MIALLO.
My jewelry is created with Sterling Silver blended with natural elements like copper, gemstones and wood. Every detail is carefully considered, and each piece is lovingly crafted to enhance the different medium’s natural splendor.
As my jewelry is handcrafted, each piece takes time to design and create. I never produce large quantities of a single design, which keep each piece unique.

The Story
The Hammer That Started It All
This beautiful vintage chasing hammer was gifted to me by my father-in-law. His father was a jeweler in Germany who moved to South Africa in 1983.
This hammer has been in the family for generations. It features a small head and a distinctive long, slender wooden handle with a bulbous end, designed for flexibility and control.
I still use it today when I make your special handcrafted piece. So a little bit of our family history goes into every MIALLO design.

So far, I’ve had the privilege of designing a Rhino, an Elephant, a Hippo, a Buffalo, a Wild Dog, a Warthog, and a Giraffe. I used Sterling Silver to bring out the softer essence of each animal and Copper to showcase their connection to Mother Earth.

A specially designed Bolo Tie for a private client. This personalised piece was designed with the client’s input and is intended to be worn at a wedding in Texas. This design expresses his love for Arica and Wild Dogs combined with the unique Cowboy Style of a Bolo Tie.

Sterling Silver and Copper Wild Dog Range
This range of unique jewelry came about as a fundraising initiative, with profits made from sales going towards conservation of Wild Dogs in the Waterberg Region, in collaboration with the ‘Waterberg Wild Dog Initiative’.
